that Cube is definitely sweet with the upgrades (provided its outside is in good physical condition).

i'll give ya $1200, i bet this thing is hot as hell though, is it??

i am figuring original cube is worth about $700+about $400 for the upgrade. i know the upgrade new is more, but it's not new anymore, nor is the cube.

i like the idea of having a 1.2 cube though, that would be sweet, may motivate me to get a 20" display from apple to match it up

You are insane.

The GeForce 3, the Hard Drive, and the combo drive are worth the $400, probably more. Plus the cost CPU upgrade and the RAM...

we'll see when he sells, i am willing to bet it falls closer to $1200 than it does $1800. worth and selling price are two different things

the 1.2 is based on a 100mhz system bus, not the 167mhz system bus of a powermac. and it is a single processor, not a dual which i can get BRAND NEW for $2000 with better specs, FW800, blue tooth 167mhz bus. radeon 9000.

1,999.00
DUAL 1.25GHz PowerPC G4
1MB L3 cache/processor
256MB DDR333 SDRAM
80GB Ultra ATA/100
Combo Drive
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro
64MB DDR video memory
FireWire 800
56K internal modem
Bluetooth Ready

hell i can get a 1ghz powermac for $1500 that will kill that 1.2 cube, again brand new.

as crazy as i am, the offer is still there, as well as the pc laptop trade, i could do either [email protected]

Well, it'll be worth more to someone that appreciates the Cube than to someone that just wants a really fast Mac. Even with the upgraded CPU and the GF3, it's still probably really quiet. Not like the vacuum cleaners that Apple's been turning out lately...

Is the internal drive a Combo? That's a great upgrade in and of itself. You should be able to get in the neighborhood of $1500-$1800 if you find the right buyer. I'd hold out for a decent price though. Does your Cube have the "coma problem" that some PL upgrades have?

If you decide to part it out, let me know. My 500mHz Cube could use a few new toys. :-)

Put it on eBay Europe if you want top dollar. I've seen upgraded Cubes go for 2,000 Euros. Without a display.
