Forgive what may be a very dumb question. In apps like Entourage and Word, Lucida Grande (12 point) is a very clear and legible type on-screen.

When I try to use it in an Excel sheet (office Vx) it looks nasty and spidery - in fact lots of fonts look too thin in Excel.

Why is this? Am I doing/not doing something stupid?

Thanks for any advice,

Adrian
