Well.. I was playing with anti-aliasing in the terminal after reading over this thread and entered this: "defaults write .GlobalPreferences AppleAntiAliasingThreshold 9999".. well it turned off all font smoothing but now Photohop 7 keeps "unexpectadly crashing." I tried "defaults write .GlobalPreferences AppleAntiAliasingThreshold 8" and now font smoothing is back but Photoshop still wont launch and I get the "Unexpectedly Crashed..." message. I tried reinstalling it but that didn't work . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try trashing your Photoshop prefs, since reinstalling doesn't touch the prefs as far as I know.
