Cascadian farms boxed frozen broccoli (search your whole foods frozen section) has 10 faces on it, the graphics artists put peoples faces on the broccoli... I would imagine this is not the only product to do such a thing, it is very covert and hard to notice unless it's pointed out...
so I ask, what is it called and there must be a website out there that collects examples!

lol
it's not amazing, just amusing... all the old Cascadian Farm packages used the have them, the creamed corn with the baby face in the middle was a little creepy when I noticed it. I spend quite some time on google looking for a site that had some examples, but no luck. maybe someone else knows more...

I don't think the penny was an easter egg. Who's going be happy they found it when the airbag goes off at 50 mph?

Subliminal messaging. They probably do it under the assumption that people find human faces more pleasing in some things, like product packaging.

What if it was a rare and valuable penny?

Is this like one of those posters... that you need to squint at... and I never see the image, but my uncle can see it instantly?

Reminds me of when I was in 12th grade calculus class. The teacher randomly showed the image of an old lady/young lady and for 45 mins (the length of the class), I still could not see the young lady. Took me a while afterwards to see it.

I've got a can of Dulce De Leche from Nestle and the picture on the front has a big old FPO on it. (FOR PLACEMENT ONLY for you non-designer types). Pretty funny really.

No. Those are autostereograms, something else entirely.
