Can anyone explain these to me?

I know dell has a lot of coupon codes for it's products, but how do the people who sell them on ebay get their codes?

Are they published somewhere?

Dell emails (or mails them I suppose) the codes. The type of customer you are means the more and varied codes you get. I've bought a few systems from them and I get notification of the codes, but I'm sure they are small in number as compared to larger customers.

$383 and some change to my door. lowest price ever for them. I think they are just above $400 right now.... so with 35 off, it would still be a good deal.

So, um, why buy the codes when you can just google "dell coupons" and find all the codes for free?!?

Wow, I really can't see paying for coupons.
But I should sell the ones I get!

i too just got one of these coupons on ebay. i googled around and couldn't find anything comparable. it cost $1.98 and was a $35 coupon that was delivered instantly to my email. i used it to get the 2005FPW which just arrived last night - very happy with the product considering it only cost me $379 shipped - great price in my book!

Well there are different types of coupon codes from Dell
-- first is the code that dell releases publically and are availale from the deal or coupon sites like http://www.dealsofamerica.com or similar.
-- Other coupons are send to dell customers by mail. It appears that those are stackable coupons that can be applied in conjunction with publically available coupon. Registered dell users or customers receive these coupons periodically - some of them sell these coupons on eBay to make money.
-- Some times, these stackable coupons are available on deal sites as well.
Hope this helps
