You need to drink plenty of fluids, mostly due to dehydration.

I need to know what the good way is. I recommend plunging into extremely cold water. Worked for me!

Plenty of fluids, including more alcohol?

Drink Coca Cola, the real kind, with sugar and caffeine.
It'll straighten you right up.

Gatorade and some food always helps at first, but follow that up with a run to really get the worst of the hangover out of the way. A nice shower, an Advil, and then finish it up by getting together with good friends.

A Vicodin/Xanax cocktail is good for a hangover.

I have to ask: Is there a GOOD way to be hung over? I don't think so.
My worst drinking tear (it wasn't a "binge" but it was as extended as I've ever done) was New Year's Eve/New Year's morning 1999/2000, Soto Cano AB, Honduras. The whole U.S. part of the base had a party of biblical proportions, including a "forces-wide" drinking game. I think I got three or four hours sleep that night and had to be up at 0600 to report (as Y2K telecommunications complaince officer) that Y2K had not snafued the comm systems. I went on to do several other "responsible" things on New Year's morning, too. Funny thing is that I did NOT have any hangover. Go figure-I mixed rum, champagne (a lot of it!), and a few other drinks through the night and all I felt was that I'd missed some sleep.
Wdlove is right, drink WATER or Gatorade to get/remain hydrated. Eat lightly, focusing on protien. Hold on tight and the world will stop spinning soon.
Happy New Year!

Makes you wonder sometimes..did we evolve for eating bananas?

This is going to sound strange, but sometimes I enjoy a good hangover. When hungover I feel much less tense, my thoughts don't race as much and I'm hilariously funny.

I don't think it is wise to take any form of painkiller recently after drinking (ie the next morning), it may wreak havoc on your liver (and you probably already put your liver through a lot, so leave it alone.) I read this information somewhere, seemingly a relaible source but I forget what it was so it could be completely false. Personally I would avoid any medication with alcohol, better safe than sorry.
If anyone knows different I would love to hear it.

milk soothes huh - thats seems like a bad combo - milk after a night of drinking - i can see myself throwing up big time after that

Aspirin's probably OK, but not acetaminophen (Tylenol etc). Too much acetaminophen can **** up your liver, and incidentally should you consider suicide, don't OD on Tylenol unless you want a long, agonizing death.
