I'm about ready to sell my 12" pb 867mhz combo drive to upgrade to a new 15" pb or 12" pb. How much do you think i can i get for my current 12" PB or shoudl I ask for? This was purchased through the education discount, used as a daily computer since i'm a college student.. The stats:
640mb of ram
airport extreme card
apple care extended warranty (purchased back in spring '03 when the 12pb was first released [so i believe i have another year left of warranty till spring '06])
all the original packaging, box, manuals, cords, etc
original receipt for all purchases
condition good
defects (the typical problems the REV A 12"pb suffers from )
one dead pixel
wobbly
both came as is on purchase

Prolly around 800-900 or so would be my guess...depending on software and all that.
I bet if you got that screen fixed that might help your selling point. It is under apple warranty so it should just go to prove how new the screen is.

$900 is a long shot if you ask me. $949 (edu) can get you a 12" ibook with 1.2 ghz, and in no for sure defects. add $60 for another 512mb of RAM and I would get the ibook any day.
