I have the New iPhone 7 Dark black - awesome looking!
but having some issues with it out of the box.

Anyway I was setting it up and it asked me to put in my pin, this is when the problem started, has anyone has this when it's not recognised??

That is the pin for your SIM-card, I believe.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Certain companies still mandate that the SIM pin be enabled, even if it doesn't make any sense.

I assume that's my problem, I'm using the actual silver pin that came in the box tucked into a flap of cardboard, the box was unopened when I received in the mail, but I suppose could have been intercepted? - any ideas?

Ah, no. PIN in this context is Personal Identification Number, ie your passcode.

The other people are saying it's the 'sim pin' I googled "iphone 7 sim pin" and it's showing the Pin I'm using, (a mini paper clip style thing like a stretched tennis racket, the size of 4 peas end to end.) so it's definitely the right pin I'm using - any ideas?

That did something, I tried on the landline as iphone is not working, I get a man saying the time. It's a start! I'm taking it to the mac store today. I'm normally good with computers, but this has got me stumped! Thanks everyone.

"Sim pin" vs. "Sim PIN" is actually kinda clever.

Not Ca$h, but a quick IP address check DOES show a collision with another user.
