Ramjet or Crucial? 15" Powerbook Upgrade

I want to boost my 1GB of RAM to 2GB. Is there really any reason to go with one over the other? Their prices on 1 Gig sticks are the same and both have great service. Is there anything that sets them apart?

Crucial. No questions asked, Crucial straight up. I've never even heard of these Ramjet folks.

depends on your PB - what model (which revision even).
i bought 1G patriot for my 1.25 al book.

MIne is a 15" 1.5, 1GB, 80GB (5400 rpm), 128 VRAM I bought last October. I'm not sure what Revision it is considered to be - either C or D.
Ramjet is recommended by the Apple Store (on the phone and at the 'Genius' Bar) for carrying fully compatable RAM, but I know from experience that Crucial RAM is great.

I would buy, and only buy from, Crucial or OWC. I've got an OWC 512 stick in my book right now, and Crucial in the rest of my gear.

Ramjet is very well respected in Mac circles. You probably can't go wrong with either although if the price is the same I would go with Ramjet.
Actually, a quick check of my favorite Mac specialist memory vendors ( www.macsales.com, www.transintl.com, www.datamem.com) shows the best price today at OWC, www.macsales.com, with guaranteed compatibility and advance lifetime replacement. Tomorrow or next week one of the others will probably have the best price.

I got (2) 1GB sticks for my new 2.3Ghz PowerMac from RamJet. No problems at all, no kernel panics, no crashes! RamJet designs their modules to work perfectly with the Mac system. Also what I liked was each Ram module for the PM has a built in metal grip to help insert them into the slots so fingers don't touch any of the pins.
Crucial has a great rep as well so choose either one.
