I can empathize with that. As much as I laugh at her schtick I totally acknowledge that she can be annoying. I still find it so strange that the two of them are together. I have no idea what they'll talk about.

So just curious, but why does gay culture love Kathy Griffin so much? Is she a huge advocate of gay rights or something?
And way to go Woz! I think Conan O'Brien needs to do a "If They Mated" bit on these two.

Well, she is a gay stereotype. Incredibly self-absored, superficial, and obnoxious. So basically Woz is dating a female Salty.

When Ving Rhames got hit by Bruce Willis' car, Kathy Griffin was the bystander that ran to help him. She had 1 line.

That's a gay stereotype? News to me.
However, after reading iWoz I'd say the above strikes me as pretty much true of him - or at least how he came across in that book.

Yeah, Dakar3 was trying to be provocative with that snide comment, I think. I was not aware that those personality traits could automatically suggest that someone is gay. I've met far more incredibly self-absored, superficial, and obnoxious breeders than I have gay people.

I said its a stereotype. As in something that is perceived to be true for the whole, but really isn't.
Geez, people.

Interesting. I've never read the book, but why do you say he comes off like that?

I enjoyed the knee-jerk use of breeders. Somehow, I suspect he's met a lot more breeders than homosexuals, though, so his claim is essentially worthless anyway.

And the stomach acids flow
The cold wind of conformity

When some trendy new atrocity
Has brought you to your knees
Come with us we'll sail the

What the heck is a "breeder"?

Just like a certain outspoken brilliant blond female pundit, I think there are some people who just don't 'get' Kathy Griffin's brilliance. Or their emotions prevent their looking any deeper than face value for any of her humorous, likable or redeeming qualities. It's like hating a wombat because a wombat isn't like a human or a dog or cat or fish or bird.

Her show is nominated for an Emmy. She sells out large theaters and gets standing O's regularly.

She is known for having a large and adoring gay following.
YouTube - Kathy Griffin on Ann Coulter
Here's a clip of her skewering a certain beautiful, blonde, brilliant pundit.

You might as well come out and say it: gay people are annoying, superficial, crazy, and self-absorbed. It's no joke.

A guy dating a gay guy is gay himself, right? So in trying, doesn't he confirm himself as "annoying, superficial, crazy, and self-absorbed"?
Or can a straight man go on a few dates with a gay man without himself being gay?

But back to Woz... is he still rich? Why would a female like him?

There was a couple of gays on our street, they were very nice and made excellent quiche's (they looked delicious but nobody dared to eat them).
To cut a long story short, a lot people homes got burgled and the only things that were stolen shaped like men's bottoms. Naturally the finger of suspicion was laid firmly on the gays, but they were eventually proved innocent and the real burglar was caught. To be safe we harassed the gays until they moved out.
