Currently, MacNN is displaying this ad:
which links to this URL:
http://kermit.macnn.com/?RC=45005253...18062870904249
Is this really the kind of software MacNN wants to be advertising? I mean, I know there's probably one or two legit uses for a keylogger out there, but they're surely in the vast minority.
The app's MacUpdate page doesn't really go out of its way to point out legit uses either - it focuses on using the software to spy on other users of a computer.

Yeah, I had a similar reaction to that ad.

Apparently we're the only ones, though, since the ad's still there and this thread has attracted almost no attention. Oh well.

We do appreciate getting feedback about the ads our advertisers run. WE (MacNN) are not in charge of whose ad goes into the lineup, but our advertisers SHOULD be aware that unethical and/or illegal software just won't sell here. Thanks for pointing this out.
