hi all... was wondering if anyone could perhaps give me some idea what my Powermac is worth on the second-hand market ballpark, and what a 'friend price' for the system might be? the specs are as follows..:

Dual 2.7GHz G5
7GB of memory (6 x 1GB, 2 x 512MB)
ATI Radeon X800 256MB
74GB 'Raptor' system HD, 10k rpm sATA
250GB secondary HD, 7200rpm sATA
16x Superdrive, dual-layer (DVR-109)
Airport Extreme card installed
iSight camera (w/ Griffin sightLight installed!)

23" Apple Cinema Display (not sure if this would be bundled or not...)

the system was purchased on the initial release day of the 2.7GHz when it was newly released months back, and is still eligible for AppleCare protection, retail packaging from my local Apple Store.

if anyone could kindly give me some idea what a system like mine should range on the current secondhand market i would be very grateful, thx in advance to all..!

$4000 easily w/o monitor.

$4700 with monitor.

At least that's what I think.

It's $2800 new from Apple (they still sell it, you just have to look closely). Crucial has the 1gb chips for $170 each, but that seems a bit high to me. Now add in the nice raptor drive, the isight, and the difference between a radeon 9650 and the x800 and $4000 seems more than reasonable to me.
It might be easier to sell it with 2.5gb of ram and sell the other ram by itself. I would also consider selling the monitor by itself and for more than $700.

Oh, and as far as a friend price goes... I'd say $1.

Have I ever mentioned how much of a friend I am to you, daiSho? I've always been there for you. Admit it.
