I need a ftp client for OS 8 and OS 9. Which one do you suggest? Im willing to spend about $10-20 but free is nice

Check out Transmit. The program has worked well for me. I used to use it for uploading to web sites I managed. It's $25, and if you want to register it (it's shareware), you just purchase a serial number for version 2 (OS X only), which will also unlock version 1.7 (OS 9, and 8 IIRC.)

Vicomsoft's FTP Client. I found it easy to use, but never did too much FTP uploading (like synchronizing).
