I have system 8.5 on my iMac and recently it has been registering the system software as occupying up to 38MB of ram! I use Netscape 4.0, America Online 4.0, and Adobe Photoshop often, and all of my extentions are neccessary and not numerous....what could be the problem???

turn virtual memory on to one MB more than actual ram, the system will use much less memory
