I hope I am not bringing this up too early but I am looking forward to MWSF 2006 Jan 9-13th. I wonder what else can apple offer then. Note the event hightlights...I guess they are more towards ipod (yawn) stuff. Another question and answer session? hmmm

I don't think pro stuff will get attention, aside from perhaps a quad Xserve (though it'll probably run at 2 or 2.3 GHz to save power). I certainly doubt that Apple will do anything new to the PowerMacs and PowerBooks in January, as it would be hard to justify replacing the 12" when there's no room to trade up without cannibalizing sales.

MWSF will almost certainly focus on consumer-level hardware: maybe a new iPod shuffle (or replacement for it), iLife 06, iWork 06, and maybe an Intel-based Mac mini.

iLife 06 and iWork 06 seem sure fire. I'd like to see some progress on the Intel machines.
