I have really big problems with my wordpress powered blog as it breaks all images I upload.
Is Wordpress more a PC thing and are you encountering difficulties when you use it with a Mac?
I'm thinking of deleting Wordpress and using "Movable Type" instead (but have to check first if you still can customize its appearance when you only know HTML and CSS and are NOT a programmer).
What's your take on blogging software?

Wordpress is completely cross-platform. The only time I have had difficulties with uploading images is in combination with an IIS .NET server where image permissions were blocked. Who's your host? How is your server set up?

What do you mean by "breaks all images"? Have you given yourself writable permission to your upload folder, or are you on a host with suexec setup so that you don't need to do this? WordPress is indeed platform and browser agnostic, as are the vast majority of web apps.

I really don't know what happened.
I contacted my web host about it, but then I found "Movable Type" which I like better.
It's also much safer against hackers than WordPress.
It's a bit complicated to install as you need to store scripts in the cgi bin and static files in a folder outside this bin, but I'm sure I'll get it done.
