I have noticed a number of posts with serious startup crashes from updating to 9.1
I also had similar problems. In my case the crashes were always at the point just before the desktop appears.
After much P***ing about. I found that 'Firewire Enabler' and 'Firewire Support' were causing the crashes on my computer.
I have now been able to turn all my other extensions back on and everything seems fine, for almost an hour now
Of course, I have yet to try my DV camera
My Mac is as follows;
G4 450 AGP
384 MB
9.0.4 upgraded to 9.1
