1- How can I change the default font? Every time I create a text box it starts with Arial and I have to change it manually.
2- How can I get heart shaped bullets to list items?
I know these are dumb questions, but today I can't figure them out.

1- Launch Quark and with no file open go to Edit>Style Sheets. Highlight "A Normal" select edit and scroll/choose from the font menu to replace Arial with the one of your choice (even a script or serif one if you wish).

2- Hearts: Zapf Dingbats (option-6 keys) or Apple Symbol (option-g)
