I have a G5 (dual 1.8) with a superdrive and for some reason every time I put in a Dual Layer DVD that I burned on my Macbook it makes noise like it's trying to read it, but spits it back out after about 20 seconds. I've tried 2 different discs with 2 different files and the same thing happens. My question is my thread title and any help would be appreciated, because I'm stumped.
Thanks
Craig

I just read on another site that this is an issue with my particular model's drive. It can read factory DL DVDs, but for some reason not burned ones. A replacement is the only option, but my machine is out of warranty.
Lame.

Really? Where? I hadn't even looked yet, but that's a decent price.
