We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight. And we would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois' law enforcement community who have chosen to join us here in the Palace Hotel Ballroom at this time. We do sincerely hope you'll all enjoy the show, and please remember people, that no matter who you are, and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there are still some things that make us all the same. You, me, them, everybody, everybody!

I haven't seen one in years, at least in the northeast. Nice to know they're still around!

True, but maybe someday I'll make the pilgrimage there. Perhaps we can all go.

They are part of DQ, sometimes even in a shared location. MA doesn't even have a DQ. What a ack-basswards state

I have never been to Orange Julius, although they have them in Chicago and the Mid West.
I guess Jamba Juice has all I need.

There's one in the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester as well as one by Weirs Beach in Laconia.

I think I've also seen them in Portsmouth, Salem, and Nashua (recently).
What, me worry?

They just built one a few miles from my house near a new hospital... They do still exist, usually coupled with a Dairy Queen though.

I did the ULTIMATE crazy thing and went to their website and used the store locator, no wonder you've haven't seen, then, the nearest one is 10 miles outside of the city:

What's even crazier is that I didn't know that Dairy Queen took them over. I just thought they fell off the earth, along with everything else that I enjoy, for chrissake.

Nothing can beat the Orange Julius we have in Montréal It lives in a giant orange and during the summer, service to the drive-in is accomplished by girls in retro rollerskates! A few times per month, there's a vintage cars gathering in the parking lot (not to be confused with the d ouchbags/riceboys gatherings that take place on saturday nights )

I also didn't know they merged with DQ, yet I pass in front of this sign everyday while going to work.. I discovered that by googling the above image!

Where about in Montréal is that? I'm gonna be up there at the end of next week for the finale of L'International Des Feux Loto.
What, me worry?

It's at 7770 Décarie blvd, near Jean-Talon blvd. 7770 dcarie montral - Google Maps

It's technically called Orange Julep but it's the same. If you want the "real" brand, you can go to 268 Sainte-Catherine St West, in downtown.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses...

Jake and Elwood in the Car.

Jake: What's this?
Elwood: What?
Jake: This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? The Caddy? Where's the Caddy?
Elwood: The what?
Jake: The Cadillac we used to have. The Blues Mobile!
Elwood: I traded it.
Jake: You traded the Blues Mobile for this?
Elwood: No. For a microphone.
Jake: A microphone? Okay I can see that. Well, what the hell is this?
Elwood: This was a bargain. I picked it up at the Mount Prospect City Police auction last spring. It's an old Mount Prospect Police Car. They were practically giving them away.
Jake: Well, thank you pal, the day I get out of prison, my own brother picks me up in a police car.

[Fog horn and warning bell sounds.]

Elwood: You don't like it?
Jake: No, I don't like it.

Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

[a brief thinking pause while Jake attempts to light a cigarette]

Jake: Fix the cigarette lighter.
