using an airport graphite basestation with broadband ? (UK)

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with my internet set up. I have an ibook clamshell with airport card and a graphite basestation (first generation) and have been enjoying faultless but slow wireless internet for a couple of years.
I am interested in getting a broadband service from NTL. Is it possible to use my existing hardware as before ? How would I go about setting it up, as I know nothing about broadband - its a complete mystery to me and I wouldn't know where to start with it. thanks

I use the graphite base station with NTL broadband. NTL will supply you with a set-top box from which you run your TV. There is also an ethernet port on the back. You can connect a Mac directly into this ethernet port, or you can plug in your base station and run your wireless network. You should find that this just works without too much fiddling about.

Actually, if you don't get your TV through them, you just get a modem I think, rather than the full set-top box. You probably want to make sure that you get an ethernet modem (rather than a USB modem).
