Hello there,

I reinstalled OSX 10.3 2 weeks ago (I was sick of the freeze problem). In the proces of reinstalling I backed everything up and reinstalled everything like application support manually. MUCH faster than installing every app from the installers. Now the only app I have a problem with is Photoshop CS. It won't open files from the finder anymore. When I click on a .psd in the finder the application switches to Photoshop but there it stops, Photoshop doesn't continue opening the file. I can only open files with the "Open" command from inside Photoshop. VERY annoying. I tried to trash prefs but that didn't do anything. Same problem still exists. I did a reinstall once before and I did the same thing (reinstalling app support and other files manually) without any problems.

Suggestions ?

PS: please don't suggest stuff like repairing permissions and running the cron jobs, I know about these

do the job properly: reinstall it. there are items missing from Application Support, which is why you have a problem.
