No "Recent Imports" collection in DL2

Hi all.

I bought DL2 last week and went home ready to start scanning in my collection of books and DVDs (boo for no Australian DVD support, btw), only to find my ISP was having issues. No intertron for me for 4 days.

So I get into work this morning and do some reading in the DL help website and learn that DL2 is clever in that it will store items added when offline and as soon as you connect to the interweb it will go and gather data for each. "Huzah!" I think to myself and go to test this out.

I turn off Airport and scan an item. I get the "beep" of a successful scan, no voice (obviously), but there is nothing else. No "Recent Imports" shelf/collection and while I can see a "refresh details from internet" in the menu, there is nothing for me to apply it to.

Does this feature only apply to DL1? Is there somewhere obvious the "recent import" stuff lives?

Thank for any help you can provide.

Cheers,
S.

try going to the Window menu and selecting the Activity item
that'll open a floating window that shows all the current and pending activity
your newly scanned items should be in there
when you're net connection returns, just go through each one and click the Retry button
