Good job on the job. Everytime I see an iBook mod, it makes me want to go and buy one just to "mod it."

Your are truely the worst of all posters, you post just to boost your # of post and give nothing to the community.

with that stated I would like to see a fuzzyer fabric used, like 3 inch pink fuzzy stuff would be cool

When you mean "actual faux fur" do you mean it's fuzzy? Or is this just a printed-on design?

Apple actually experimented with fabrics (ok, it was leather but...) in considering material to enhance the Powerbooks. This was pre-Jobs, back when Copland was in endless death-throws.

Nice mod. For those interested you can buy iBook covers already in Jaguar patterns (among others) here in Japan.

Your ibook looks like a frikken vagina. A messed up, hairy-ass, nasty cabbage patch lookin' vagina. Do the chicks dig it?
Is this what you wanted?
Is this what you had in mind?

I hope you are referring to the green furbook I linked to (not mine, just something I found on the web). Otherwise I'd hate to see the kind of girls you are familiar with -- Jaguar patterned vaginas?

I am surprised that so few pattern jobs are done. Except for those really fun fur jobs, I rarely if ever saw paint jobs with interesting patterns (on the inside of the ibook shell): is this really hard to do?

I hope some japanese guy could show me professional paint jobs of this kind: japanese macmaniacs are usually much more creative with this kind of mod...

I'd love to do something like this to my Nov 2002 iBook 700, but my question is how reversible is this sort of thing? Is the spray adhesive easy enough to get off of the case without any ill effects should I decide to revert back to its "stock" appearance? I'd hate to be stuck with a spotty iBook and figure out once I'm done that I hate it..

that's not a jaguar pattern, thats a leopard pattern, jaguars have small black rosettes in the middle of the circular patterns
