I just got a new G5 at work and used the Migration Assistant to transfer my old computer to the new one and everything is working great except Dashboard.
Dashboard works fine for viewing the Widgets that I had from my old computer but whenever I try to add a new or remove a Widget I see the ripple effect then my entire screen goes unreadable. I get a bunch of lines and colors and a washed out screen. I have to do a hard shut down to be able to view my screen again. I tried unplugging my monitor but that does not help. I don't think this would cause my problem but I do have an older ADC Apple flat monitor and I'm using a DVI to ADC adapter.
My video card is a ATI Radeon 9600 128mb's running at 1280 x 1024.
Any idea's ?

Well I guess no one has seen this problem. I did find a work around. I installed
Widget Manager so now I can at least add and remove widgets without having to reboot my machine.
