Read about it here direct from Mike.

Mike Matas of OmniGroup and Delicious Monster fame is following in the footsteps of other Mac shareware icons who have been acquired by Apple.

For those interested, others that come to mind are Eric Peyton (Fire), Justin Wood (Proteus), 'Cricket' (Netflix Fanatic) and Buzz Andersen (Podworks).

Yeah, I could definitely use some shelves built into the Finder. Then I could use my Bluetooth barcode scanner/OCR scanner to get all that crap off my desk and onto my desktop. Goodbye, desk clutter. Hello, desktop clutter!

This thread was not discussing an application. Please pay better attention in the future to where you post.

Now this is just a guess.

Someone posted this in the applications part of the forum?

And then he moved it here?

Well the original post mentioned an app, I guess that counts.

I'm afraid to say this is probably so. However, Mike can be very stubborn and unrelenting in his approach; maybe he's being groomed for Steve's job

Um, I'm seeing posts quoted that aren't even in the thread? Are mods deleting posts now?

Duh. They were disruptive posts. We've done that for, um, forever?

Don't respond here -- that is off-topic and I'll nix it.

Cricket and Buzz Andersen were already working for Apple when they wrote their shareware - Cricket has worked on Mail.app since NeXT (I think).

Don't forget our very own MacNNer Black Book (Chris) who is the author of the Capture Widget for Mac OS X.

Here is his site: www.vanillasoap.com/widgets

He's a genius, in my opinion.
