Weird problem in Firefox, is doing my head in!!

All of a sudden, anytime i open a page, it go's straight back to my homepage.

So to get to post here i've had to open up each stage in tabs, as it wont let me get anywhere near without going back a page - driving me nuts!!! Doesn't do it in Safari.

Downloaded 2 apps this morning - PSPWARE and new version of MS messenger 5.0

Help!

Have you tried deleting the preference file? That can fix a multitude of performance problems.

Try to remove the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox and the Firefox preferences file in ~/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist

just export your bookmark file next time so you don't have to manually recreate it, or backup the bookmarks.html file found in your profile folder.

Ok, think there is something a bit more deep routed here!

Started doin again, but the opposite way now, and not just in firefox! If i try resize in P.Shop the numbers move themselves, if i open an Xcel doc, the bar moves to the right on its own!

In firefox, i can open a page, but if i click to go back, it goes back to original then shoots back to the page i've jus looked at!!!

Drivin me nuts!

So guessin not a firefox problem?

Any ideas.....please!
