I would like for all Junk mail to be permanently deleted and not just moved to the Trash after I delete it from the Junk mail folder. I do not like how it then moves to the Trash and is mixed with my other trash.

Any way to change this? Does this annoy anyone else?

Can't you just set the mail rules to do this?

I would still like it to go to the Junk folder so I can view it real quick to make sure it's junk, but then when I delete it, I want it to delete perm. I don't think I saw an option to do that unless I just couldn't figure it out.

Right click on the Junk folder and select "Erase Junk Mail"

Hey, you're right, that is weird. If you turn off the Move Deleted Items to the Trash selection and delete an email from your Inbox the email is poof gone. But not if it is in the Junk folder. I never noticed that before.

You can also use the KB Shortcut option+Command+J to erase the Junk Mail.

Can anyone recommend a great spam fighting program? I tried spam sieve and didn't like it at all. My spams getting out of hand atm.... I usually get over 300 emails a day, 80 of them are probably spam.
