Good morning/afternoon/evening, My best friend just got a job at Apple in Cork as a french technical support agent and we were wondering what discount would he get. (that Powerbook G4 looks nicer and nicer... )

one of my friends got an iMac Rev A for 999 when they just came out cause he knew an apple employee. I don't know what discout tech support people get...

Well there are lots of discount programs that Apple offers it employees. I think he'll be able to find an attractive price.

Every quarter Apple offers it's employees discounts on most hardware and specials on thier "Q Promo" list. Apple employees only get a discount on the items on the list (not a straight % from the Apple store) and can only purchase two items per year. Here is an item from the most recent list:

That post above is not true. Apple offers unlimited discounted purchases from it's special list, plus a limited amount of directly discounted (% off) merchandise from the Apple Store (for Employees, which has slightly different selection).
