Since updating to 10.3.3 my F12 key won't work for ejecting discs.
Has anyone else got this problem? i have a 933 G4.
I realise i can drag it to trash to eject, just is easier to use the key sometimes.

I had the same problem with my G4 800 ibook when I first got it. Repairing permissions fixed it then, but I haven't tried it with 10.3.3 yet. Worth a shot. Note that if you diagnose permissions it won't return any errors, but repairing still fixes the glitch.

Go the Keyboard and Mouse Preference Pane and make sure "Use the F1-F12 Keys for Custom Actions" is not checked.

Interesting. So booting from the CD once fixed it? That probably somehow reset a preference file somewhere.

I had this problem with my iBook G4 1GHz too! Rebooting with a CD in the drive did fix it however (you don't need to boot FROM a CD, just have a CD in the drive).
A very strange bug indeed.

I had this problem too - pleased to report booting with a CD in the drive solved it.
Interestingly whenever I pressed f12 when I had the problem, the iBook beeped, like it knew something was up!
