Using full screen mode in iTunes (visualizer, cover flow, video podcasts etc.) or Front Row occupies both displays in my extended desktop setup (Intel MacBook 2 GHz, OS X 10.4.8), so I cannot keep working on the second display, which is blacked out. This contrasts full screen mode in e.g. iPhoto and QuickTime. Does anybody know of a workaround so iTunes and Front Row only uses one display for full screen mode?

I've got the same frustration! I just wish some ingenious programmer would write us a stable patch.

I noticed that as well, both screens fade and then my 2nd one stays black.
