Do a 'which perl'. That tells you the location of it. You can do a which followed by any command and it will tell you where it is located. If you need any other help with perl, I might be of some use. drop me an email ( [email protected]).

dude, you don't know the first thing about me, so how do you know what i know? besides, i didn't see action script, php or cold fusion in that list. fyi, i've been programming computers for about 15 years now. usually, i start with the basics. the path to perl is one of the first things you'll read how to determine in any perl book. fact.
oh, nice sig you have there too...

Cool it. Especially you, Will -- if you ask a simple question without doing any research whatsoever you're bound to take some flak for it.
Usually the first thing you do when you start learning a language is figure out if you have all the necessary tools and where they are...and most normal tutorials will tell you.
To quote Scott, *read the man page*!

FYI, it's JavaScript (no space), Objective-C, not Object C, and Cocoa and Carbon aren't languages, they're system APIs.
Sheesh. At least read the bare bones documentation before flaming back...

I wasn't defending you, I said you were totally wrong, you should do your research the next time, and you shouldn't be flaming in the first place.
There is no "fight."
If you have some problem then you can email me or contact me on AIM, this is getting off topic.

I think many people do. So don't ask that question.
And you don't. What was the point?
Heck, where's Mr. Tom Servo when we need him for forum stamps?
