if you're using Entourage v.X, you can use SpamReporter Script 1.x to get the email's MIME. the script automatically copys-and-pastes the MIME into the body of a new email. It is set to send automatically to [email protected], but this can be changed in the script's code, per the author's instructions, and will then save it to your Drafts folder.
You can select multiple emails and have them processed all at once.
I imagine that the script could be modified to fit your needs--strip the MIME from the emails, then output to a txt file or the like.

Uhm.... there's an easy and a hard way...
The hard way being _much_ more interesting.
1. Go and have a read how the mime format is built:
<a href="http://www.tac.nyc.ny.us/mail/rfc-index.html" target="_blank">http://www.tac.nyc.ny.us/mail/rfc-index.html</a>
(You might also want to check out the rfc's about the header fields, as you might need them if you want to write the e-mail all by yourself.)
2. Get your typing skills together and write those mimes! Naturally you want to do this by hand, as every self respecting hacker would do!
3. Now it becomes a bit difficult, you'd have to start the terminal and telnet your favorite e-mail server. After you've got this working (the rfcs migh be your friend again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> send your self written e-mail through per copy and paste.
Congratulations you're done!
;-)
And then... (if you're a bit lame like the rest of us) there is always Eudora....

uhmmm... should I go or should i stay.. I guess that s the question but guys sleep would be nice.
I'll do it the hardway but I ll download Eudora at the same time.
And can defintely use the script....
Thanks all,
What I still don't understand... is mime a text file placed as an attachement to any email reader?... but I don't see any attachements when a mime is written...

mime is being covered in rfcs 2045 through 2049. if you care about data and character encodings, rfc 822 might be of interest, as well.
basically, what you're looking for is something like "Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=Apple-Mail-1-616388265" in the header of the e-mail. then, in the contents, look for the "boundary" specified in the header tag. what follows is one of the multiple parts, being described by a mime header, looks something like this:
--Apple-Mail-1-616388265
Content-Disposition: attachment;
filename="Picture 2.jpg"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Type: image/jpeg;
x-mac-hide-extension=yes;
x-mac-creator=3F3F3F3F;
x-unix-mode=0644;
x-mac-type=4A504547;
name="Picture 2.jpg"
if you want me to go into more detail, let me know. hope that helps so far.

Most e-mail programs will MIME files up for you; just attach the files as normal. You may be given an option of how to encode the files (BinHex, UUEncode, and Base64 are the three popular encodings); choose Base64 for maximum interoperability as this is the one defined in the MIME standard, and is the one generally thought of when people hear about MIME files.
