if you upgrade your hard drive does it void the warranty?
if not - then can any suggest the best type of hard drive to get for macbook? anything of 120gb plus...

To be a bit more specific, it doesn't void your warranty on the MacBook because the Hard drive is considered to be user servicable like the RAM. Infact the hard drive is easier to remove than the RAM if you ask me.

On the MacBook it won't, but on the iBook the chances are pretty high that you can break something (it is a pain replacing it) and the warrenty can easily be voided
|

Basically, if you don't break anything (I mean physically damage anything), you can do a whole lot. You can definitely upgrade both RAM and hard drive in both MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
