UPDATE W/ NEW PRICES!!!!!!!!
Hey guys,
I am in the process of preparing my broken iBook G3 to be sold off for parts, so I figured I would come here first and offer it up to the forum members. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Ibook minus the logic board, so this could be a good way to get a really cheap Ibook if you are willing to repair it. I would have repaired it myself, but I just bought a refurb unit from Apple to give to my fiance in the broken one's place. I would like to get $150 for the broken Ibook plus $20 for shipping to anywhere in the US. If you want the 512 stick in the Ibook, then I will sell the system with the RAM installed for $200 plus the 20 to ship the system.
The RAM deal feel through on the buyers end, so it's back available. 512 stick for the Ibook for 70 shipped to your door.
The specs on the book are as follows:
12 inch model
700 mhz G3
128 RAM
30 gig HDD
Original battery <--still holds a charge for about 2 hours
A/C Adapter <--original Apple adapter

From the way I first read your post, it looked to me as though you were offering advice on how much you got when selling the same stick of RAM and NOT making an offer. He then asked you for a clarification as to what your post meant and you insulted him. I don't think he was tring to be a smartass about it. Just my two cents worth.
Oh also I am interested in the RAM myself. How much for it shipped to 06033?

hahah...yea i read your response and was like...wow...
sorry about the confusion...i really wasn't trying to be a smart ass...i was just generally confused as I didn't know (like the other poster said) if you were making an offer or telling me how much you would sell the ram for! So my apologies for any confusion.....
As for selling the Ram individually, I will be more than glad to hook you up with that as soon as I see if the first person that emailed me about it is interested in the computer with the RAM included at the original price shown. As soon as he gets back to me (I've already replied to the email) and let's me know if he wants it or not, I will shoot you a PM and reply here letting you know if the RAM is being sold seperate or not. I just like to be fair to those that reply first....
As for price, if the first person declines the ibook, it seems the going rate on Ebay is 80-100 for this particular kind of RAM, so I'd be willing to let it go for $70 shipped. I've always been a fan of folks giving deals, so might as well give in order to get ...golden rule and all that :-p
Anyway, keep the post coming, and I'll post here as soon as I hear back from the first person.
