just wondering how i can get it replaced cuz on the bottom of my macbook is all scratched up and also the rubber part at the corners are turning green.. Anyone have any idea?

Haha. I always wondered what the hell that was! The bottom rubber things are turning green for me too! No idea why! Must be a chemical reaction to something because I was at the Apple store in KOP the other day and all of there macbooks have the same thing, the rubber soles are green too!

If someone has an answer id LOVE to know. Its not a big deal, just bugs me.

I dont know about the scratches, but just handle it with more care? Its the bottom, doesnt really matter!

pay for the parts and labor. it is cosmetic damage, caused by normal wear and tear, and perhaps carelessness, and it is not covered under warranty. i don't know how you could justify having apple replace it.

if anything, buy a skin like bestskinsever, so it will be better protected in the future.

I am using the Speck "Clear" case which snaps onto the Macbook and it's fantastic. You can buy it directly from the Apple store online. Excellent investment to protect you're Macbook!

yea...the Speck clear case works wonders...i also have MacStyles wrist-pad protectors and they are also gems in protecting discoloration...comfortable too!!
