Anyone manage to get iDisk to function through a firewall? I've got a linux box on my DSL connection ip masquerading and filtering for my internal network and I can't quite determine yet what's going on when my iDisk doesn't mount. The traffic is really bizarre, so weird arp requests as far as I can see. So far my main culprit is my firewall.

Anybody know what ports this is trying to connect on? Any other pertinant info?

as a matter of fact - yes:

AFP. Apple File Protocol, or in some cases depending on your firewall product's naming convention, AFP over TCP. Oh yeah, the port number is 548. Hope that helps.

...some other names would be applshare file
protocol and one vender called it apple filing protocol (porbably a typo). but in any case, its port 548...
