Hello to all!
This is a reoccurring problem so every time I stumble on to it, I'm thinking I should make a post here.
So here it is!
Auto correction for the iPad is just plain bad. It has nothing to do with the excellent iPhone auto correction.
iPhone's auto correction is aggressive and 90% of the time correct.
1) iPad seems to have no words in its dictionary so even misspelled common words won't be replaced with the correct ones.
You have to type the word at least twice to register as correct.
2) It never capitalizes the letter "I" (aside from the beginning of the line)!!!! Seriously? Is there a use of "I" in a non capitalized way?
3) Also by default it has the word "me" starting with a capital M. No matter what I do I have to always go back and correct that.
It just doesn't learn to write "me" the way it's supposed to be written 99% of the time.
4) And don't get me started on the contractions. They're just non existent.
Why for the life of me would I want to leave won't as wont and don't as dont???
At least it learns so I don't have to retype those every single time but there a quite a few contractions so every time I stumble
on to a new one that needs correction. I wouldn't mind if the apostrophe was at least on the same keyboard. But now every time you want to use the apostrophe
you have to press the numeric key and then go back to the normal keyboard.
5) When I start thinking that I have to go through all that for the Greek keyboard when it gets supported (even though the iPhone had one for the past 3 years...)
I just get insanely furious!
Why couldn't they just stick with the old and trusted iPhone autocorrection keyboard?
Anyone else getting mad with the iPad keyboard or is it just me?

Are you sure you have the keyboard language set to English?
Predictive text correction is identical to what iPhone used to do before iOS 4.

Oh my....
I have no words....
Yep English wasn't enabled.... Instead there was a QWERTY keyboard enabled (Just QWERTY it's the first time I'm seeing that)... Anyway I was quite sure I had the english keyboard enabled but as it seems I had not...

Mine is the same! This one really bugs me. I hope it's fixed in the next revision.
