I have been using Firefox on my iMac G5 now for a while, and everything was fine. I downloaded a few themes from the Firefox site. Things are not so fine anymore. Can these things mess up Firefox? I uninstalled all of them today and am just using the basic Firefox theme.
Also, not sure where to post this. When waking up the computer, everything lags. The computer will be sleeping, and I will wake it up, and try to open Firefox, and it just bounces at the bottom of the screen, and does nothing. I right click it, try to force quit it, and nothing. Then the spinning rainbow of death appears, and I end up rebooting my Mac. Could this be Firefox related, and will me getting rid of those themes help this problem? I think that it is only when I open Firefox after the computer has been sleeping.
Is it confusing? I can try to explain more, but my knowledge is severely limited. Thanks!!

If your Mac is acting up, boot from the install/restore disk and run Disk Utility to check and repair the hard drive. It recently fixed an error for me that was slowing down my macbook pro (beachball, very long app bounces, crashes, etc.).

Thanks for the information. How exactly do I boot up from the install/restore disk? I think that I have seen the Disk Utility before.

You can look for damage in Disk Utility without having to boot off of external media. I'd suggest doing that and seeing what it finds.
