Anyone have any information on whether or not DXG-567V 5 MP video camcorder is compatible with a Mac? It's currently on sale at Costco online for $99. Our 8 year old son has been wanting his own video recorder and this seems a perfect choice, but we're reading conflicting reports as to whether or not it'll be compatible with a Mac. Thanks!

The DXG-567V only works with Windows; buy a Flip for OS X support.

The Aiptek a-hd+ is 119 to 149 at Target. The a-HD 720p is 110 at Best Buy.

These shoot in AVC-HD. You may have heard of that format under its other name, h.264. Works in iMovie, works in Quicktime. The camera isn't recognized by the Mac, but the card in a card reader works fantastic.
