I have a KVM switch that allows me to use my USB based Mac and PS/2 based Compaq.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a PS/2 compatible keyboard which has the equivalent of the disc eject key available or mappable.

TIA.

I think you don't need a PS/2 keyboard to do that. There are some pieces of shareware that will let you map a key to the eject function.

Keyboard Maestro is one program that was mentioned on MacNN a week or two ago. It can do the eject function that you want.

Does the PC have USB?

Why bother using a PS/2 keyboard with your Mac? Do the opposite and use the Mac's USB keyboard with both.

The Apple Pro keyboard works fine with PCs as long as they have Win98 SE or later.

A good page on cross platform sharing is here.
