Ok... We are shifting from Type 1 fonts to OpenType fonts.

When we first installed the Type 1 we only added them to the shipped OSX fonts.

When we are installing the Open Type, we select the Type 1 from the kind menu to filter them out. Delete them.

Then we get this:

Which is weird as it only affects the text right there in FB. I don't get weird web site text (like we did with Helvetica Fractions), or anything... It seems only resident in Font book.

Any Idea why this would happen after deleting the Type 1 fonts that didn't come on the system?

Thanks!

^repair permissions, clean install, bring the Mac to an Apple store. What else... hmm post a thread on MacNN- oh wait you already did that.

Long story short; I have no freakin' idea. Or perhaps there is some font cache. I read that somewhere. Maybe that'll fix the problem.

Oh and you may want to drop the "we" reference. Either you did it or someone else did

Yes i'm a prick sometimes.

No biggie... it fixed after updating to OpenType... Just stopped being a problem. Weird.

Oh, and I don't mind you being a prick.
