As
anticipated, NFL Now apps have been launched for the
iPhone and iPad and the Apple TV. The titles promise "hundreds of new videos daily" connected to teams and players; users also can get a non-stop stream based on preferences learned over time.
Some content is behind a premium paywall, which costs $2 per month in the US, UK, and Mexico, and $5 per month elsewhere. This gets users unlimited access to NFL Films material and game highlights, including "hundreds of real-time in-game highlights." Subscribers outside the US, UK, and Mexico can stream NFL RedZone live on Sunday afternoons; people outside the US, Canada, and Mexico can stream the NFL Network.
Some other perks include AirPlay support and news updates. On iOS the app is a free download, and requires iOS 7. Apple TV owners should see their homescreen silently update with the app in supported regions.
