Cannot get MSN Messenger to work!

Hi there. I cant get MSN Messenger to work on my iBook through Airport. Its works on my iMac that is connected to the DSL through a cable but my iBook which is online wirelessly via Airport cannot log into Messenger!
Any thoughts on what I might be able to do to get it working??

Have you considered using iChat?

Yeah I use iChat for AOL but I like to use Messenger for the others

I honestly don't know what your problem could be, I don't use MSN.
I feel obliged however, to let you know my earlier post was an attempt at humor.

Delete you preference file. I had a problem where it wouldn't let me log in. Once I deleted the preference and set everything backup in MSN again it worked.

^^ Same thing happened with me. Wouldn't let me log in, and voila, deleting the preference file fixed it

hmm, deleting the prefs always works. however, proteus is much better than MSN crapware.

Absolutely - use it as an excuse to try Proteus - a million times better than MSN Messenger!
