Hi fellow MacNNers. I am starting a new newsletter called MacBytes. I am looking for some writers and some editors. I would also need a publicity person. Take a look @ the website for MacBytes, @ www.freewebs.com/macbytesnews/

Thanks
Will

There are two primary publications that have the name "MacBytes"

1. The Palm Beach Mac Users Group's monthly newsletter

&

2. MacBytes.com (which isn't the best news site in my mind)

All that aside, I went past your site and the flash header on the site wouldn't load. You may want to search for a person that is good with webpages/grafx. Pre-built templates aren't the best or most flexible for publications.

I used to be part of a mac site a couple years back that was just reviews and opinions and even that alone was not the most oftenly updated because of time constraints of those involved. To find enough articles for a newsletter of anything more frequent than every 6 months is no easy task and will take a lot of time and hard work and a lot of people. You may also find it hard to get subscribers also when most people will just head past MacNN.com for example unless you can offer some unique perspective that is able to keep up or exceed all those who are established already.

Best of luck tho
:)

My name is actually William Smith, but yes, it is my name. I was named after my grandfather Bill. Is anyone interested?

I like this idea. I'd like to help you out, but I'm not sure what I could do. If you need something in particular, e-mail me at osxpinot [at] gmail (dot) com.
