Since I got the heatsink replaced on my 1.83GHz MacBook (they didn't touch the logicboard), when I reboot or startup after a shutdown, every single time I have to reset the PRAM or it just sits on a darker-than-normal gray screen.

Is this something that reinstalling OS X might fix?

mine was doing the same thing and it was really starting to piss me off. try this.
power it down and then press and hold the power button until the white light flickers and you hear a tone. (probably about 5-10 seconds)
also, does your superdrive suck ass like mine? can you even import a scratchless cd into itunes?

I haven't tried importing anything since I got it back, but I got a CD that I was burning totally stuck in there the day I got it back. I'll try importing when I'm back home later this week!!
