Hi all !
Can anyone please help me out with this problem.
basically, i just got my new 15" powerbook and during installation when connecting to register my details, it got stuck on 'Disconnecting' screen. It will not allow me to click cancel and I don't know whether i should just pull out the power (take out battery) and start over cos it seems to be stuck. It's been like this for 30 mins now and I'm sweating to get t his baby going !!
Can anyone help me....pleeease !!

As a new switcher, I must say it was rather ominous that the very first thing to happen to my very first mac was also getting stuck at the disconnect screen. I just rolled my eyes and held the power button for a bit I think. After which it booted up without incident.

actually, the exact same thing happened to me when i first got my new powerbook. i had to restart using the on/off-button but since then my powerbook has worked like a charm..

i guess its just a problem with the apple servers during registration or something..
finally here and absolutely flawless:
powerbook 12" 1ghz rev b combo 768 mb ram bt-mouse
