Hello guys I work in a Windows environment and we have a Ricoh 2027 copier/network printer. I installed that printer on every XP machines in the Office. Recently we ordered a Mac Pro for design and I use that computer. I tried downloading and installing the drivers. After much time I was able to get it to recognize the printer but it prints just letters and all messed up. This is a TCP/IP printer and I would really help to be able to print to this. Just wondering if you guys have any ideas on what to do.

I'm running the latest version of Tiger. In the instructions from Ricoh they say to use Appletalk but when I do It doesn't see the printer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any luck with this? Ive been trying all day to do the same. Installed latest PPD from ricohs site tried connecting all different ways, no luck. Also appletalk is enabled and still OSX 10.4.8 will not see it. It sees every other appletalk printer though

How about trying to install it as an LPD printer? Other possibilities include: changing default printer language (I needed to change that for my Kyocera printer from PCL6 to PS3) and making sure the data is encoded as binary.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
