You know, minutes after articles come upon slashdot (the mouse one, just recently), I notice that I cannot connect to apple insider! I propose that we must find a way to block all users coming from slashdot onto macnn sites, I mean, now I feel the lag here at macnn (does AI and macnn share the same connect?). Well, this is 100% Slashdotting for ya...

I have also noticed the times when connects to the Forums take forever, or will not connect at all. I hadn't associated it with anything, just assumed it was time to move the MacNN Forums off the 7500/90 and onto a G3 or G4.

Well, the servers I have access to kick anything you have access to...
And with a 512 channel ISDN (thats a dual E3 - it'll be up in 'bout a month - at the moment we have a single E3)...
Oh well...you had your chance.

just digging up something old ^_^

what are the specs on E3s? I've never heard of them...only T1 and T3s, and OC3, 6, 9, and 12s, and as far as I'm aware of, ATM is the only thing above OC12. My school shares 4 OC12s with JPL and a few other places...the connection is DAMN fast!
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...
