4. That's if you count my 2 mouses side by side. ApplePro with 1 button and my UniMouse with 3.

If they'd only get that damned USB Overdrive X done so I could actually use all my buttons. Especially switching the left and right buttons, being that I'm a lefty and want an index right click as a regular click and a left click for the Control Click.

3+3 Wacom Graphire, but I am so used to the keyboard modifiers I dont bother to use any of the 'spare' buttons except for the scroll wheel.

1 and 3. 1 for normal use; 3 for gaming. Sometimes use the '3' for normal use - autoscroll on the middle button is nice.

Definitely the Microsoft Intellimouse optical. Even though it is made by the evil empire, it is still one of the best mice for OSX.

1 on the Apple Pro mouse at the office
1 on the Powerbook
I like a one button mouse. I tried some other more complicated devices but gave up on them.

By the way, for the Apple Pro mouse I got one of those silicone mousepads. They include a teflon insert for the mouse. Using this combination the mouse is almost frictionless. It feels like it is floating on the pad. Really nice.

5 at home - intellimouse explorer
3(4 if you count the "chord") - Kensington optical @ work.

I don't like single-button mice, got tired of digging cookie crumbs out of my keyboard.

powerbook - logitech wireless-optical 4 buttons (inc. scroll-wheel button.)

G4 server - logitech optical 3 button (inc. scroll-wheel button.)

Logitech make cheap, great mice - especially the optical mouseman - fits in your hand beautifully - It reminds me of the good old ADB apple mouse (the smooth one, not the square ones.)

2, plus a scroll wheel. Microsoft optical wheelmouse. I can't stand not having right click on the mouse. And of course the scroll wheel rocks for web pages and finder windows & stuff.

3 Wacom Graphire

I thought the same way about never needing more than one button, but now that I have 3 (I only use 2 and the wheel though, I can't imagine having a computer double click for me) I could never go back to no right click and no wheel.

Just one, and I like it that way. A scrollwheel on this thing would be nice, however.

Currently I use just one.

But I have been considering getting the Contour MiniPro because it has a second button but placed below the main one as opposed to laterally beside the other. This seems like the best of both worlds because I can use it as a normal mac mouse and it will feel that way but I can just slip my finger back occasionally and use the second button if I want to do some powermousing. Still, there's no scroll wheel--but to be honest I have no wheel problem with that!
